Lawford poses as his murdered twin to find out who killed him, getitng involved with Interpol and diamond smugglers.

Utterly awful sequel to 1968's Salt and Pepper is an abysmal mess, unfunny and undeveloped. Director Jerry Lewis does nothing with the plot, instead devoting plenty of screentime to unamusing setpieces and Davis' terrible Lewis-esque mugging. While Lawford is fine and seems to be having fun with the dual role, Davis gives one of the worst performances ever put on screen. A complete waste of time, especially the completely pointless and nonsensical cameo by Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee in their iconic roles of Dracula and Dr. Frankenstein. At least that dubious distinction consigns this film to a special place in cinematic hell. To be avoided at all costs.

Note: Eight 'Salt and Pepper Girls' are onscreen, but only seven are credited. No luck trying to figure who is who, or who is uncredited out of the bunch. Also, regardless of what IMDb says, Harry Carey Jr, George Chandler and Richard Loo are nowhere in this film.
