In which ex-Inspector Dreyfus escapes from psychiatric hospital and ransoms the World to kill Clouseau.

Slightly over-the-top Pink Panther nevertheless has some hilarious moments notably the first clash between Clouseau and Cato and later Clouseau's attempts to infiltrate Dreyfus castle lair.

The film's end credits include cast for scenes not in the finished film.
