Inspector Clouseau

Scotland Yard is baffled by a series of high profile bank robberies and calls in outside help in the form of Inspector Clouseau, much to their undying regret (and also the audience's as well).

Sadly unfunny comedy in which film staggers from one scene to the next without purpose, except perhaps to waste a cast full of familiar British faces and some exceptionally lovely ladies. Arkin is badly miscast as Clouseau, and instead of coming off as bumbling merely seems obnoxious. Perks up quite a bit when the actual heist goes down, but that's only after an hour of meandering, unfunny scenes that show all the signs of an editor desperately trying to salvage something from the hands of an untalented director.
