Richard E. Grant

Swaziland-born actor who has been in Britain since 1982 after education and early acting experience in South Africa. His open mouthed expression can adapt quickly between contempt, menace, determination or satisfaction at the drop of a hat. Despite several leading roles, including a memorable performance in Withnail and I (1987), he has proved equal if not more adept with top featured roles demanding waspish qualities.
